Steve Austin worked in the trades growing up and later received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. He played college football and professional football in Europe before returning home to work for the family business, Quality Preferred Painting. After graduating, he took ownership of the company in 1992.

Steve grew the company by making high-quality workmanship the top priority on every job and by building long-term customer relationships. He also began buying and renovating real estate in the mid-90s and now owns and manages over 100 units. With extensive knowledge of construction and real estate, he expanded the business 20 years ago to include carpentry, and today the company employs three full-time carpenters and six full-time painters. He has been married for 28 years and has three children who are all involved in the family business.
